The purpose of this document is to provide an in depth understanding of the model's mechanics (Introduction, Methodology, User Interface, including appendices).
This document includes a detailed overview of the various methodologies, data sources and calculations used in the Joint Impact Model. The methodology sections of this document include introductions to the methodologies applied for each impact – i.e. supply chain and induced (Section 2), direct (Section 3), financing enabling (Section 4) and power enabling impacts (Section 5) as well as key assumptions and limitations.
JIM - PCAF METHODOLOGY
This document provides more information on the JIM methodology for GHG emissions and attribution for PCAF signatories, who would like to use the JIM for their PCAF reporting.
